I have been an extremely satisfied client of Griffin Landscaping for 6 years.  John and his crew handle everything from weekly mowing, salvaging my lawn from kids and dogs, and spring/fall clean up.  In addition, John created a dramatic native plant butterfly garden in my back yard and worked with the existing bland landscaping in the front to create a dramatic display of textures and colors throughout the season.  When I lost a small tree in the storms, John was out there the same night removing the tree.  After assessing the soil and my yard he found and planted a competitively priced and appropriate replacement.  After 6 years of working together I am confident that I only have to ask John to 'make it look fabulous' and he will always exceed my expectations.

John Griffin, founder and owner of Griffin Landscaping, has provided me with landscaping services since 2008.  In some ways, if you've worked with one firm, you've worked with them all; but, there are three distinctive reasons I continue to renew my contract with John and his team:  they are consistent, hands-on and thoughtful.  John and his team pay attention to my yard and make sure that each season and week they are providing the best service for my yard, including suggesting solutions to problem areas.  When it comes to being hands-on, this has been revealed in so many ways. When it's a rain-filled week and the team needs to catch up, it's not unusual to see John himself in my yard early Sunday morning making sure my yard is treated.  He and his team are also thoughtful.  They know I work all week and therefore like to enjoy my yard on the weekends - and so they work me in to their busy schedule on Thursday's so that Friday morning and through the weekend, my yard is ready for me to enjoy.  Most important, I know that I can call John with any questions or concerns and he takes them seriously and follows-up to ensure I am satisfied with how they are addressed.  I am pleased to be a reference for John and wish him much success!

I have known John Griffin since he was in high school.  He has always been a hard worker, but I am amazed at his knowledge of landscaping.  We recently purchased a house that needed a lot of landscaping because our house had none.  John chose bushes and trees that were perfect for our yard and reasonably priced.  He installed them in a timely fashion and we will continue to add to our yard again this year.  He does our weekly lawn maintenance and has never missed a day (unless weather has been an issue).  I highly recommend him  for this as well as for snow removal.  I am a realtor and also recommend him to my clients.
